COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

Where a competency model and assessment tool is available, the employees participate in a 360º assessment process designed to measure the gaps between current employee ability and the competencies required for excellence on each specific job. In organizations that don't use 360º assessment, the manager normally provides the analysis to the employee.
